What ingredients are required for the Lauki Kofta Curry Recipe?
For the koftas
Bottle gourd – 1/2 (grated)
Salt – to taste
Gram flour – 1/4 cup
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon

Corn flour – 2 tablespoons
Red chilli – 1/2 teaspoon
Oil – for frying
Garam masala – 1/4 teaspoon
For the onion-tomato paste
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Ginger-garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
Onion – 1, finely chopped
Cashews – 10
Tomatoes – 2, finely chopped

For the gravy
Oil – 2 teaspoons
Bay leaf – 1
Cumin seeds – 1/2 teaspoon
Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon

Red chilli – 1 teaspoon
Salt – to taste
Kasuri methi – 1 teaspoon
Yoghurt – 1/4 cup
Green coriander – 1 teaspoon (finely chopped)
Garam masala – 1/2 teaspoon
How to make kofta in the Lauki Kofta Curry Recipe?
First, peel and grate the bottle gourd. Then, add salt and squeeze out the water. Now, add gram flour and all the spices and mix well. From this mixture, form small koftas and coat them in cornflour. Fry them in soft oil until golden brown, then transfer them to a plate.

How to prepare Gare?
To do this, first heat oil in a pan. Then add cumin seeds, turmeric, bay leaves, and red chilli powder. Next, add onion-tomato paste and fry it. Then, add coriander powder, bottle gourd water, salt, and yoghurt. Then, mix everything together and bring to a boil. Then, add kasuri methi and garam masala and cook for a while.

How to serve kofta and gravy?
Once your gravy is ready, transfer it to a serving bowl. Top with the fried koftas and garnish with cilantro. Serve with roti, parathas, or rice.
