What ingredients are needed to make jaggery rice pudding?
To make jaggery rice pudding, you will need the following ingredients:
Milk – 2 litres
Rice – 2 cups
Jaggery – 1 1/2 cups (grated)
Dry fruits (cashews, raisins, almonds) – 3 to 4 tablespoons

How to make traditional jaggery-based kheer for Kharna?
Wash and soak the rice
To make jaggery rice pudding, first you need to wash the rice thoroughly, then soak it in a bowl of water for about 30 minutes.
Boil the milk
Next, you will need to boil the milk in a heavy-bottomed pot.

Add the soaked rice
After that, you will need to add the soaked rice to the milk and cook it over medium heat.
Prepare jaggery
Then you will need to dissolve the jaggery in 1/2 cup of lukewarm water.

Mix the jaggery
Once your milk and rice are well cooked and thickened, add the dissolved jaggery water and mix well.
Cook the mixture thoroughly
