Weather Update: The monsoon in Uttar Pradesh appears to be on its way out. Meanwhile, people in Delhi-NCR have found relief from the heat today. Rainfall on September 30 in Delhi-NCR has brought relief from the humid heat. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rain accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms in Uttar Pradesh. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather is expected to change suddenly in more than 50 districts of Uttar Pradesh on September 30.

Furthermore, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for light to moderate rain in many areas of Konkan, Goa, and Central Maharashtra for the next six days (excluding September 30). The Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for Saurashtra and Kutch from September 30 to October 2.

According to the IMD, a rain warning has been issued for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands on September 30. Additionally, the Meteorological Department has issued a rain warning for West Bengal and Sikkim from October 2nd to 4th. Rain is expected in Tripura from October 1 to 4th. Rain is expected in West Madhya Pradesh on October 5, while East Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha may experience rain on October 4th and 5th.

Rain warning in East and Central Uttar Pradesh:

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Jaunpur, Pratapgarh, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Kaushambi, Rae Bareli, Amethi, Lucknow, Barabanki, Hardoi, Sitapur, Unnao, and Kanpur Nagar.

The Meteorological Department has issued a rain alert for Etawah, Auraiya, Agra, Firozabad, Etah, Hathras, Mathura, Kasganj, Aligarh, Badaun, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bulandshahr, Sambhal, Amroha, and Moradabad. Rain warnings have been issued in Gorakhpur, Maharajganj, Siddharth Nagar, Balrampur, Shahjahanpur, Lakhimpur Kheri, Bareilly, Pilibhit, and Rampur.

Rainfall Expectations in Jharkhand
The Meteorological Centre, Ranchi, has issued a rain alert for Jharkhand until October 4. Light to moderate rain is expected in many areas on September 30 and October 1st. Rain is also likely in eastern Jharkhand and surrounding areas on October 2nd. Heavy rain is expected at several locations in the northeastern and central parts of the state on October 3.

Weather Conditions in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Rajasthan from September 30th to October 3rd. Additionally, storm warnings have been issued for isolated areas in Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh on October 4th and 5th.
