The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued alerts regarding rain and thunderstorms for most states across the nation. Consequently, a noticeable drop in temperature has been observed following the rainfall.

Alerts have been issued for 11 states—including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar—in anticipation of stormy rains. The weather pattern in Delhi has shifted; since early this morning, the skies over Delhi-NCR have remained overcast. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for heavy rainfall in several states for April 8, 9, and 10. The rains also appear to be bringing much-needed relief to people from the heat.

Pre-Monsoon Impact in Kerala
Every year, the monsoon makes its first landfall in Kerala. The IMD has issued a warning for heavy rainfall in Kerala from April 8 to April 10. During this period, several parts of the state are likely to experience strong winds, with gusts of 30-50 km/h, along with lightning.

 Rajasthan Weather Alert
In Rajasthan, the pre-monsoon season is expected to bring rainfall ranging from light to heavy. The IMD has issued an alert for the state, forecasting heavy and light-to-moderate rainfall until April 10. Furthermore, there is a possibility of strong winds, dust storms, and lightning strikes in several areas during this period.

The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for heavy rainfall in numerous states during the pre-monsoon season. Rain warnings have been issued for a wide range of states, including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Odisha, Sikkim, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Maharashtra, Marathwada, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa, Manipur, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, and Mizoram.

Weather  Update for Uttar Pradesh
According to the Meteorological Department, a rain alert has been issued for several districts, including Agra, Mathura, Saharanpur, Hapur, Muzaffarnagar, Jyotiba Phule Nagar, Bareilly, Sambhal, Bulandshahr, Shahjahanpur, Pilibhit, and Moradabad.

 Bihar Weather Forecast
A warning for heavy rainfall has been issued for several districts, including West Champaran, East Champaran, Gaya, Jehanabad, Patna, Nalanda, Vaishali, Muzaffarpur, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Purnia, Kishanganj, and Saharsa.

 Uttarakhand Weather Update
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert for light to moderate rainfall has been issued for Nainital, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Pauri Garhwal, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Chamoli, Bageshwar, and Tehri Garhwal.
