Gold Rate Today: Gold and silver prices witnessed another surge today, April 8. According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 24-carat gold has risen by ₹4,000, reaching ₹1.52 lakh per 10 grams. Previously, the price of gold stood at ₹1.48 lakh per 10 grams. Meanwhile, the price of one kilogram of silver has increased by ₹13,000, reaching ₹2.44 lakh. Prior to this, it had remained steady at ₹2.31 lakh per kilogram.
The fluctuating prices of gold and silver have left people perplexed, as rates change daily—sometimes rising, at other times falling. The ongoing conflict between Iran and the US, which has persisted for several days, also appears to be impacting gold and silver prices.
