UP Board Result 2026: Following the conclusion of the Class 10 and 12 board examinations conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP), students are now eagerly awaiting their results. Currently, all students who appeared for the exams are fixated solely on the board examination results. The UP Board Class 10 and 12 examinations were conducted between February 18 and March 12, 2026.
The process of evaluating the answer sheets commenced on March 18. The Board plans to complete the evaluation process by April 1 at all costs. Once the results are released, students can check their scores by visiting the official website, upmsp.edu.in.
When will the results be released?
The Class 10 and 12 results are expected to be released sometime between April 20 and April 30. Students can view their results by visiting the official website at upmsp.edu.in. In addition to the official website, students can check their UP Board Result 2026 via SMS and DigiLocker.
System Similar to CBSE Implemented
The UP Board has now adopted a ‘step-marking’ system for Mathematics and Science subjects, similar to the CBSE. Under this system, students will receive marks even for partially correct answers, which could potentially lead to improved overall results.
When were the results released last year?
Last year, the UP Board Class 10 and 12 results were released on April 20. According to media reports, the UP Board is likely to release the results for the Class 10 and 12 examinations by April 20 this year as well.
Last year, approximately 54.37 lakh students registered for the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. In Class 10, 90.11% of students passed, while in Class 12, 81.15% of students passed. Yash Pratap Singh from Jalaun topped Class 10 with 97.83%, while Mahak Jaiswal from Prayagraj topped Class 12 with 97.20%. UP Board students can check their results on the official website, upmsp.edu.in. Students can access their results by entering their roll number and school code.

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Board Result’ link.
Step 3: Click on the ‘UP Board 12th and 10th Result 2025’ link here.
Step 4: Enter your roll number and security code, then click Submit.
Step 5: The UP Board 12th result will appear on the screen; you can then check it.
Step 6: Now, download your provisional marksheet and take a printout for future reference.
The original marksheet will be available from schools 15 days after the results are released. For this, students will have to contact the school principal.
