New Delhi: After unexpected support in the Bihar Assembly elections, the NDA has moved forward to form a government. Nitish Kumar will once again be sworn in as Chief Minister on behalf of the NDA. He is expected to submit his resignation tomorrow at the Raj Bhavan in Patna. Sources indicate that the BJP is expected to dominate the cabinet this time.

This formula is expected to be finalised in a high-level NDA meeting. Several ministries are also being speculated to go to the JDU. The LJP and Upendra Kushwaha’s party are also likely to receive ministries.

Number of Ministers in the BJP and JDU

The BJP is expected to dominate the new Bihar government. This time, the BJP is expected to include 15 to 16 ministers. The JDU is expected to include approximately 14 ministers. This time, the BJP won 89 seats in Bihar, while the JDU won 85. Chirag Paswan’s Lok Janshakti Party also had a good strike rate, winning 19 seats.

Jitan Ram Manjhi’s Hindustan Awam Morcha won five seats. Upendra Kushwaha’s party also performed well, winning five seats. Each of these parties may receive a ministry. The swearing-in ceremony is expected to take place on November 19th or 20th. No official announcement has yet been made on the swearing-in date.

Mahagathbandhan’s Poor Performance

While the Bihar Assembly elections are a lesson for the opposition’s policies, they also pose a challenge for Tejashwi Yadav. The Bihar election results clearly signal the need to discuss legitimate issues. The Mahagathbandhan won a total of 35 seats. Prashant Kishore’s party contested 238 seats in this election but failed to even open its account. The RJD won a total of 25 seats.
