Bihar Election 2025 – Counting of votes for the Bihar Assembly elections is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, with all arrangements in place. The first trends are expected around 8:30 a.m. Forty-six counting centres have been set up for counting 243 seats across 38 districts.
Postal ballots will be counted in the first two rounds. The first results are expected by 1 p.m. The picture of whether Bihar will see a spring is likely to become clear only by evening. Candidates’ agents will be allowed to enter the counting centre at 7 a.m., and ID proof will be required. Currently, all political parties are claiming to have formed their own government.

Voter Percentage
For the first time in Bihar’s history, the highest voter turnout was recorded at 66.91 per cent. Women outnumbered men. Male voters cast their votes at 62.8% and female voters at 71.6%. The Election Commission announced the highest voter turnout since 1951.
More than 8.5 lakh polling personnel, over 1.4 lakh polling agents appointed by 2,616 candidates, 243 general observers, and 38 police observers were involved in the two-phase elections. Minor clashes were also reported at several locations during the voting.
How many tables will the countind?
Fourteen tables have been set up for counting votes in the Bihar Assembly elections. Randomisation will be conducted at the counting centre at 6 am before the counting. Each round will count 14 EVMs. Separate rooms have been designated for each assembly seat at the counting centre.
NDA government predicted in the exit polls
Exit polls released by various organisations across the country have predicted the formation of an NDA government. If the exit polls are to be believed, the NDA is likely to win 140 to 170 seats. On the other hand, the Grand Alliance is projected to win between 60 and 112 seats. Prashant Kishor’s party, Jan Suraj, is expected to win between 0 and 5 seats.
