On Wednesday, heavy rains accompanied by thunderstorms in all districts, including Patna, led to a drop in the temperature level, providing relief to the people from the heat. Storms and rain broke all records in Kishanganj, where passersby faced problems due to the breaking of trees, poles, and electric wires. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in all areas of Bihar, advising people to exercise caution.
Heavy rain warning in these districts of Bihar
According to the Indian Meteorological Department, a warning has been issued for rain accompanied by thunder and storms in Kishanganj, Araria, Purnia, and Katihar. Apart from this, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Nawada, Aurangabad, Kaimur and Gaya. Apart from this, a warning has also been issued for thunder and lightning in Rohtas.
Winds are expected to blow at a speed of 40 to 50 km/h in parts of Bihar. In such a situation, the Meteorological Department has also advised people to be alert.
At the same time, a cyclonic wind circle is expected to form over eastern Bihar, prompting a warning of heavy rain with thunder in many districts. Lightning can also strike here. There is still a possibility of thunder at many places in the north-eastern areas of Bihar.

On Wednesday, rain was seen at many places in Bihar. People in Kishanganj, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Supaul, Purnia, and Aurangabad received relief from the scorching heat due to rain.
Nawada, Rohtas, Bhabua, Madhubani, Gopalganj and Patna have witnessed heavy rains. 57.6 mm of rain was recorded in Pothia of Kishanganj, 44.2 mm in Sugauli of East Champaran, 39.2 mm in Chhatapur of Supaul, 38.4 mm in Triveniganj, and 38 mm in Narpatganj of Araria.
