ICAI CA May 2025 Results Declared : On July 6th, 2025, starting around 2 p.m., after which the CA Intermediate and Final result followed CA Foundation, ICAI declared the result of the May 2025 examinations for CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Finals. Candidates of these examinations are allowed to access the result anytime now on www.icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org, and icai.nic.in.

Highlights

A total of 14,247 candidates who cleared Group I and Group II of the CA Finals became Chartered Accountants. With respect to Group I, a total of 66,943 students registered, out of which only 14,979 were declared passed, yielding a pass percentage of 22.38%. For Group II, 46,173 candidates had appeared for the examination, out of which 12,204 were declared passed, representing a pass percentage of 26.43%. Of the candidates registered for both groups, 29,286 appeared, out of which only 5,490 succeeded, hence making the percentage of success 18.75%.

CA Final Toppers

The names of the three All-India Rank holders for the CA Final examinations are Rajan Kabra Nishitha Bothra and Manav Rakesh Shah. A candidate must secure at least 40% in each paper and an overall minimum of 50% for issuance of a pass certificate in the Final examination, and those scoring 70% and above will be placed in the distinction category.

Intermediate

Mass activity marked CE Intermediate results announcement. 14,232 students passed in Group I out of a total of 97,034 candidates, with a pass rate of 14.67%. In Group II, 72,069 candidates attended, and 15,502 passed; therefore, the pass percent was 21.51%. For students attempting both groups, 38,029 presented this attempt and 5,028 cleared it, giving the passing percent of 13.22%.

Overview of Foundation

In CA Foundation, a total of 82,662 students appeared for the examination, of which a total of 12,474 students passed, making it overall 15.09%. The passage is 16.26% for male candidates, whereas the passage is 13.80% for females. To be declared successful in the Foundation, candidates are required to score a minimum of 40% in each paper and 50% overall. Those above 70% will be awarded distinction.

Examination Dates and Result Declaration Timing

Foundation examination was conducted on May 15, 17, 19, and 21, 2025. Intermediate and Final examinations were conducted from May 16 to May 24, 2025. Result announcement held on July 6 for all levels but at different times.

ICAI CA Results Checking

Students wishing to check results should visit ICAI official portals and type in their registration number, roll number, date of birth, and security code. The sites for this are icai.org, icaiexam.icai.org, and icai.nic.in. Further Steps After Results Candidates may apply for certified copies of their answer sheets within 30 days of the announcement of results.

The payment would be pegged at ₹500 per paper. Qualified candidates will be charged a token amount of ₹100 per paper for verification of marks in the Foundation exam and will receive the pass certificate from the ICAI regional offices within 60 days after announcement of the result.

Once again, the charter received from the Chartered Accountancy course proved its weight during the exam conducted in May 2025. ICAI, yet again, kept its own yardstick to extend recognition toward the efforts of students spread all across the country.
