UGC NET 2025 Answer Key Released : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the provisional answer key for the UGC NET June 2025 examination. All students who have taken this examination can check the provisional answer key, exam question paper, and recorded responses on the NTA website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. This provisional answer key will be applicable for all 85 subjects under which UGC NET was conducted in June 2025.
How to Download Answer Key and Response Sheet
Candidates can download the answer key provisionally after signing in using their application number and date of birth or password. After logging in, they will be able to view and download their response sheet, question paper, and answer key for reference. This will help students calculate their expected scores and evaluate their performance.
Objection Window Open Until July 8
NTA has opened the objection window for candidates to challenge the provisional answer key in case of any discrepancies. The time period for the objection window will be from July 6 to July 8, 2025, before 5 PM. The applicants will have to pay a non-refundable fee of ₹ 200 per question on submitting the submitted objection. It would be made available through debit/credit cards, net banking, and UPI.
Steps to Raise Objections
While raising the objections, they will log in to the answer key challenge portal and select the question IDs they want to challenge. They will also upload the supporting documents or academic references for validation. After selecting the questions and uploading the documents, they will have to pay the objection fee and finally submit the form before the deadline. Objections raised without proper documentation or without payment will not be entertained.
Post-Objection Process and Final Key
Once the objection window is closed, NTA will consider all the challenges with the help of subject experts. In case any challenge is found valid, that particular answer key will be suitably amended. Thereafter, the final answer key will be released based on that review, and UGC NET 2025 results will be announced according to the final version. Candidates will not be updated individually about his/her objection; therefore, they are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.
Exam Overview
The examination of UGC NET for June 2025 was a Computer Based Test (CBT) which was conducted from June 25 to June 29, 2025. The examinations were conducted during two shifts every day – said shifts begin from 9 AM to 12 PM and 3 PM to 6 PM- in all centers across the length and breadth of the country.
