Afghanistan Launches Major Attack on Pakistan, Captures 25 Checkpoints

New Delhi: While the US and Israel are jointly launching attacks against Iran, a fierce war is also raging between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The tensions between Afghanistan and Pakistan continue, with attacks on each other continuing. Meanwhile, Afghanistan has once again launched a major attack on Pakistan.

The Afghan army has retaliated strongly to airstrikes by the Pakistani Air Force, launching counterattacks against Pakistani military installations. The Afghan Defence Ministry has reported that its forces have targeted several key Pakistani military installations along the 2,600-kilometre border.

These attacks include areas adjacent to Kabul, the Ali-Sher district of Khost, and the border areas of Jalalabad and Kandahar. Several outposts have been captured, and over 100 soldiers have been killed.

According to Afghan officials, their forces have taken control of several Pakistani military posts in the Spin Boldak and Shorabak districts of Kandahar province.

Three Pakistani soldiers were also claimed to have been killed during the capture of three posts in Spin Boldak. The Afghan army also captured one soldier. Afghanistan’s Tolo News reported that two Pakistani posts in Ali-Sher district are also now under Afghan military control.

War-like Situation Between the Two Countries

For information, a war-like situation persists between the two countries. No middle ground is visible. Both sides are bombing and shelling each other’s positions.

According to officials, the intensity of the fighting has decreased slightly compared to the initial phase of the conflict, but the danger has not been averted. The hostility began last month when Pakistan claimed to have targeted militants inside the Afghan border.
