Nubia Air 2025 specs: ZTE introduced the all-new Nubia Air during the IFA 2025 conference in Berlin, a phone that is pushing ultra-thin design to new limits with balanced value and performance. Measuring just 5.9mm in thickness, featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED display, and enjoying an IP68 + IP69 + IP69K rating, the phone goes after the ultra-thin flagship market, competing against Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge.

Design and Display: Ultra-Slim Design With Stunning Screen

The Nubia Air stands out due to its 5.9mm ultrathin body and 172g feather-light build, with some of the thinnest smartphones on the market. The device boasts a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 2720×1224 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 440ppi pixel density. With 4,500 nits peak brightness, full DCI-P3 color gamut support, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection, the phone provides crisp images, vibrant colors, and durability, and it is a decent option for users who care about display quality. 

Performance and Hardware: It is equipped with Unisoc T8300 power.

Under the hood, the Nubia Air is equipped with the Unisoc T8300 chip, 8GB RAM, and 256GB inbuilt storage. Moreover, users can make use of an additional 12GB of virtual RAM for more power while multitasking. ZTE has also integrated its AI Performance Engine, which optimizes CPU performance by suspending infrequently used applications, offering up to 20% better battery efficiency. With this configuration, the Nubia Air delivers effortless daily performance without exceeding energy expenses.

Camera Setup: Intelligent Features With AI Upgrades

The Nubia Air has a three-camera setup at the rear, led by a 50MP main sensor with electronic image stabilization (EIS). It is further backed by AI-based features like Video Anti-Shake, AI Super Night, AI HDR, and VLOG mode for creators. At the front, the 20MP selfie camera snaps clear images and is augmented by AI editing tools such as Magic Editor and Magic Eraser, which give users more post-processing choices. While it does not seek professional photography, Nubia Air has decent imaging performance for its segment.

Productivity and AI Features: Smarter Everyday Use

In addition to hardware, ZTE packed the Nubia Air with AI features to enhance productivity. It has an AI Real-time Translate that allows for real-time translating on phone calls and an AI Conversation Translate that translates even direct conversations. AI Noise Cancellation and AI Echo Cancellation 3.0 enhance the quality of calls by making the sounds clearer under different environments. All these features make the Nubia Air not just a trendy gadget but also an efficient tool for businessmen and tourists.

Price and Accessibility: Affordable But Stylish

The Nubia Air is priced at $279 (about ₹24,600) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, one of the lowest-cost ultra-slim phones on the market. It will be available for sale in Europe this month, followed by Southeast Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, and the other markets later this year. The phone will come in three color finishes: Titanium Black, Streamer Black, and Titanium Desert.
