Display Quality
Coming to one of the strong highlights of the Pova Slim, it has a 6.8-inch curved AMOLED panel that introduces popping colours, deep contrast, and ultimately a powerful refresh rate of 144Hz. It enables smooth navigation and clear outdoor visibility since it has a peak brightness of 1600 nits. An addition from Tecno is the Gorilla Glass 7i protection, introducing further durability without compromising slimness.
Performance Experience
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 5G chipset, daily tasks were generally smooth on the Tecno Pova Slim. The UI feels clean with minimal bloatware, and overall usage remains responsive. However, during heavier gaming, such as playing Call of Duty, the device shows heating and frame drops. Light gaming and regular multitasking work fine, but demanding use exposes the limits of the hardware.
Battery and 45W adapter
For a slim design, the Tecno still manages to cram in a 5160mAh battery, which comfortably runs a full day with moderate usage. Charging is efficient too: the device reaches 43% in about 25 minutes and fills a complete charge in about one hour and five minutes with the included 45W adapter.
