During the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on Wednesday, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy XR headset. It made its debut as the first extended reality (XR) headgear from the South Korean tech giant, which uses two integrated lenses to project augmented reality (AR) features into the real environment. Additionally, it has hand tracking, which uses sensors beneath to let users control widgets and apps with hand gestures. The gadget runs on the Android XR platform and has a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 2 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage.
