A Festive Twist to the Reno 14 Series

The teaser was officially posted by Oppo on X (formerly Twitter), and fans got the first glimpse of this limited-series smartphone. The Reno 14 initially appeared in May 2025, and then the Sun & Moonlight Edition appeared in July. And now, the brand is launching a festive-themed design, representing the cultural heritage of Diwali. The Diwali Edition features a stunning golden mandala design and a golden peacock engraving on the back panel, against the backdrop of a black finish, and so is one of the most vibrant Reno models to date.

Premium Craftsmanship with a Festive Glow

The detailed design and gold contrast against black guarantee the Reno 14 Diwali Edition to be a collector’s item. While the look receives an update, Oppo has not announced anything about altering the fundamental specs. What this means is that customers can anticipate the performance-focused features of the regular Reno 14 but in a unique celebratory design that pays homage to India’s Festival of Lights.

Anticipated Specifications and Performance

Under the hood, the Reno 14 Diwali Edition should have MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 SoC to run apps and games smoothly. The phone should be delivered with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage, providing sufficient power and space for users. Oppo has also added aerospace-grade aluminum frames for toughness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i for protection of the display.

Durability and Water Resistance

Its distinguishing feature is the extremely high durability levels. The phone has IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, with robust water and dust resistance. The Reno 14 Diwali Edition is thus not only fashion-conscious but also durable enough to handle everyday wear and tear, which is an added utility value for its premium features.

Camera and Battery Capabilities

The phone keeps surprising with its 50MP triple rear camera system, perfect for recording elaborate festive details. At the front is a 50MP selfie camera that takes great portrait shots and video calls. The phone is fueled by a 6,000mAh battery, combined with 80W wired fast charging, making it ideal for heavy users who desire long battery life without having to wait long for charging.

Verdict: A Festive Collector’s Edition

The Oppo Reno 14 5G Diwali Edition brings together style, culture, and technology in one device. Its performance and hardware are on par with the regular Reno 14, but the festive-themed design makes it an interesting choice for those who wish their phone to be an expression of happiness during Diwali. With its powerful hardware, tough build, and eye-catching design, this Diwali Edition is more than a smartphone, it’s a statement device for the festive period.
