In October 2024, Oppo launched the Oppo Find X8 and X8 Pro, which were outfitted with the Dimensity 9400 chip. The company released the Find X8 Ultra, Find X8s, and X8s+ smartphones this year. While the X8s+ was an upgraded version of the original X8, the X8s was first released as a small flagship phone. Famous tipster Digital Chat Station shared key details about the Find X9 series on Weibo today.
Three phones in the X9 series will have the Dimensity 9500 chip.
The source claims that MediaTek’s coming Dimensity 9500 chip will power three of the four different variants in the Oppo Find X9 series. 6.3-inch, 6.59-inch, and 6.78-inch screens with 1.5K resolution are reportedly included with these three devices.
Each will have an ultra-thin border made possible by LIPO technology and a flat display design with consistent bezels. Also, they will have the same triple camera system with a periscope telescopic lens for better zoom capabilities. Due to an earlier source, at least the top model of the three will sport a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Following Oppo’s popular flagship design, the Find X9 Ultra is probably going to be unique. It is expected to have a large one-inch primary sensor and the forthcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2.
A 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 10x optical zoom, and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera seem to be part of its rear camera setup. It could potentially have a 6.82-inch screen, similar to the Find X8 Ultra.
The Find X9, X9+, X9 Pro, and X9 Ultra might be in the lineup if the naming scheme adheres to current patterns. The X9 series will be made to compete with the next generation of iPhones. While the other three might be released in October of this year, the Ultra edition might make its debut in the first half of 2026.
