How many marks will be required for recruitment?
Selection in the UPSC Civil Services Examination is based on three stages: Prelims, Written Examination, and Interview. The Prelims are a qualifying exam only. The written examination is conducted for 1750 marks, and the interview is for 275 marks. The full marks for the UPSC Personality Test are 275. There is no minimum qualifying score for selection. However, a score of 150-180+ is generally considered a good score for final selection.
