UP TET 2025 Postponed: The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET) has been postponed. The exam was scheduled for January 29 and 30. More than 15 lakh candidates had applied for the exam, and this decision is disappointing for them. A meeting was held regarding the upcoming exams in Uttar Pradesh, chaired by the newly appointed chairman of the UP Education Service Selection Commission, former IPS officer Dr Prashant. In this meeting, the decision was taken to postpone the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, which was scheduled for January 29 and 30, 2026.
When will the new exam calendar be released?
During the meeting on the exams, it was noted that a new exam calendar will be prepared, taking into account other state exams, including TGT, PGT, and TET. The new exam calendar, including dates for UP TET and other exams, will be announced soon.
15 lakh youth had applied
It is worth noting that the UP TET exam was conducted after a four-year gap. This time, more than 15 lakh applications were received for the exam. Now, all these candidates will have to wait again for the exam.
The UP TET exam was last held on January 23, 2022. Since then, candidates have been waiting for it to be conducted again. This exam was finally going to be held after almost four years, but now it has also been cancelled for the time being. However, the commission has not yet officially announced any postponement or rescheduling of the exam.
