Guidelines: The Uttar Pradesh Police Constable recruitment exam begins today, June 8. Lakhs of candidates have applied to appear for this exam. Admit cards have been released and can be downloaded from the official website. The exam will be conducted in two shifts across 75 districts of the state on June 8, 9, and 10. Stringent security arrangements have been put in place to ensure candidates face no inconvenience; exam centres are being closely monitored via CCTV and drones. More than 28 lakh candidates are set to appear for this exam. Candidates must adhere to certain essential rules. Here are the detailed guidelines for the exam:

Shift Timings:
The first shift of the exam will run from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Candidates must report between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Entry will not be permitted if you arrive at the exam centre after 9:30 AM; therefore, try to arrive early to avoid last-minute issues. The second shift will run from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with the reporting time scheduled between 1:00 PM and 2:30 PM.

Must-Read Exam Guidelines:

– Candidates are advised to report at least two hours before the exam.
– The entry gate will close 30 minutes before the exam begins, and students arriving after that time will not be allowed entry.
– You must carry a printed copy of your admit card and an original photo identity proof into the exam hall.
– Carrying electronic gadgets such as mobile phones or smartwatches into the exam hall is prohibited.
– Candidates must take the exam at the specific seat assigned to them as indicated on the admit card.

– Talking or making gestures during the examination is strictly prohibited.
– Permission to leave the examination hall before the exam concludes will not be granted.
– Ensure you carry two copies of a recent passport-sized photograph with you on the day of the exam.
– Carry only black or blue ballpoint pens into the examination centre.
– Gel pens cannot be used for writing on the OMR sheet.

How to download the admit card?
Visit the official website at uppbpb.gov.in
Click on the active link for the city slip.
Enter your login credentials (registration number and date of birth) and submit the details.
Once the information is submitted, your admit card will appear on the screen.

Exam Pattern
Candidates will be asked 150 questions in the UP Police Constable exam. 2 hours will be allotted to solve the question paper. Two marks will be awarded for each correct answer. There is also a provision for negative marking in this exam; 0.5 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
