UGC NET Answer Key 2026 Out Soon: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC NET December 2025 exam at designated examination centres across the country on January 3, 5, 6, and 7, 2026. According to the previous pattern, the NTA releases the provisional answer key within two weeks of the exam completion. Therefore, the UGC NET answer key is expected to be released in the third or fourth week of January. Candidates who participated in the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test for a total of 85 subjects from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, will be able to download their answer key in PDF format through the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in. How to Download?
The UGC NET provisional answer key will be available online at the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. All candidates who appeared for the exam can access the answer key by entering their login credentials.

When can objections be raised?
Candidates can compare their answers with the UGC NET answer key. If a candidate is not satisfied with any answer, they can raise an objection online within the specified dates. Candidates must pay a fee of Rs. 200 per question to raise objections to the answer key. If your objection is found to be valid, marks will be awarded accordingly.

Click on the link related to the answer key in the LATEST NEWS section on the website’s homepage.
Enter your application number, date of birth, and the security PIN, then submit.
The answer key will open on your screen.

You can now download it and compare your answers.

When will the final result be released?
The objections raised on the answer key will be addressed by a team of experts appointed by the NTA, after which the final answer key will be prepared. The candidates’ results will be prepared and declared based on the final answer key.
