SSC CHSL Result 2025 Announced: The Staff Selection Commission has released the results for the Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2025. Along with this result, the list of candidates who will now be eligible to appear for the next stage, Tier 2, has also been released. You can check your results through the official website, ssc.gov.in. Candidates have been eagerly awaiting their results. The CHSL Tier 1 result has now been released on the official website, ssc.gov.in. The exam was conducted in multiple shifts between November 12, 2025, and November 30, 2025. Due to the different shifts, the Commission has adopted a normalisation process to ensure uniform scores for all candidates.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
The Commission has also set minimum marks to pass Tier 1: 30% for the general category. The OBC and EWS categories were required to score 25 per cent. A minimum of 20 per cent was required for all other categories.

What is normalisation?
When an exam is conducted over multiple shifts, the papers for each shift are not the same. Some papers may be slightly easier, others slightly more difficult. To ensure that this does not disadvantage any student, the Commission adopts a specific formula. This process is called normalisation. Note that the SSC has prepared the merit list by equalising the marks of all candidates according to pre-determined rules.
