HPBOSE LDR Exam 2026 – 97 Applications Rejected; Check Final List for Feb 22 Test

HPBOSE Update: 97 applications for the Limited Direct Recruitment (LDR) exam scheduled for February 22nd have been rejected due to non-payment of the prescribed fees by the Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education. The board invited applications for these positions in December and January, for which 1,534 candidates applied. Management found 1,437 applications to be valid.

According to information, the board invited online applications for LDR positions from December 23rd to January 15th. Candidates were required to pay a fee of ₹3,000 for the written exam for the 1,427 positions. These positions were reserved only for SMC teachers serving in the Himachal Pradesh Education Department who had completed at least 5 years of service and were appointed under the SMC policy of 17-07-2012.

What is the LDR test?
The LDR exam stands for Limited Direct Recruitment. It is only for SMC teachers working in the Himachal Pradesh Education Department. These posts are not open to the general public. Teachers must have completed at least 5 years of service and been appointed under the SMC policy of July 17, 2012. The board invited online applications between December 23 and January 15. Candidates were clearly told to deposit ₹3,000 as an examination fee. The test will now be held on February 22 as planned.

Post-Wise Applications After Rejection
There are 296 candidates in Arts, 247 in Drawing Master, 343 in Hindi, 60 applicants in JBT, 112 in Medical, 102 in Non-Medical, and 277 in Sanskrit. These numbers indicate tough competition in Hindi and Sanskrit.

The Education Board had requested online applications for LDRs, including those with examination fees. Of these, the board rejected 97 applications that did not pay the fee. The list of rejected applications has been uploaded to the board’s website.
