SRH vs LSG Match IPL 2026: The 10th match of the Indian Premier League was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. In this contest, the Lucknow Super Giants handed Hyderabad a crushing 5-wicket defeat. In this match, LSG captain Rishabh Pant won the hearts of fans with a blistering batting performance. Remaining unbeaten, he faced 50 deliveries to play a magnificent knock of 68 runs. At one point, it appeared that LSG might face difficulties, but Pant’s captain’s knock dashed the hopes of the opposing team.

LSG Wins Toss, Elects to Bowl

The Lucknow Super Giants won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a total of 156 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 10 overs. Hyderabad’s start was quite disappointing; they lost three wickets within the Powerplay itself and managed to score only 35 runs in the first 10 overs.

Subsequently, Nitish Reddy and Heinrich Klaasen forged a partnership of over 100 runs for the 5th wicket, steering the team toward a respectable total. Heinrich Klaasen played an innings of 62 runs, while Nitish Reddy contributed 56 runs.

LSG Wins by 5 Wickets

Chasing the target, the Lucknow Super Giants’ batting got off to a shaky start. The team suffered its first blow with the score at 37, when Mitchell Marsh returned to the pavilion. Stepping in to bat next, LSG captain Rishabh Pant anchored the innings from one end and, alongside Aiden Markram, built a 40-run partnership for the second wicket.

The match certainly became thrilling for a while after Markram returned to the pavilion having scored 45 runs; however, Rishabh Pant played an unbeaten innings of 68 runs, guiding the team to victory in 19.5 overs before walking off the field. On the bowling front for Sunrisers Hyderabad, Harsh Dubey claimed 2 wickets, while Ishan Malinga and Shivang Kumar took one wicket each.
