CBSE Board Exam 2026 Postponed – Class 10 & 12 New Dates to be Announced Soon

CBSE Board Exam 2026 Postponed: Big news is coming for CBSE Class 10th and 12th students. The board has shared important information for students in the Middle East. The Central Board of Secondary Education has postponed the Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled for Monday, March 2, 2026, in view of the current situation in parts of the Middle East. New exam dates will be announced later. The board will review the situation on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and make an appropriate decision regarding the exams scheduled from March 5.

Citing the current security situation in the region, the board tweeted that this decision will affect students of CBSE-affiliated schools in Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. This notice follows a fabricated circular that went viral on social media, claiming that exams in the Middle East would be postponed due to regional tensions. Information regarding when the postponed exams will be rescheduled has not yet been released.

Due to the current situation in parts of the Middle East (Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates), the Board has decided to postpone both the Class 10 and 12 exams scheduled for March 2, 2026. The Board will review the situation on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, and will take appropriate decisions regarding the exams scheduled from March 5.

CBSE Board Exam 2026:-
This year, the CBSE Board Class 10 and 12 exams began on February 17, 2026, and will continue until March 10, 2026. The Class 12 exams will continue until April 9. To pass the exams, students need at least 33 per cent marks in each subject. If you get less than the minimum marks in any one or two subjects, then the students will be considered compartmented.
