In 2026, the overall pass percentage for the CBSE Class 10 Board examinations stood at 93.70%. Once again, girls have outperformed boys, achieving a pass percentage of 94.99%. The Southern Region has topped the list. In addition to the official website, students can check their results via DigiLocker, the UMANG App, SMS, and IVRS. However, by now, most students would likely have already checked their results. On the other hand—and for the first time ever—students are being given the opportunity to reappear for the Class 10 Board examinations. The Board is organising a second set of Board examinations for the students.
In accordance with the recommendations of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE has introduced a ‘Two-Board Exam Policy.’ Class 10 students who appeared for the examinations will be given a second opportunity to take exams in up to three additional subjects during the second set of Board examinations scheduled for May 2026.
