Most people currently prefer to travel by Vande Bharat Express. The Vande Bharat Express offers a variety of amenities for passengers. The Vande Bharat Express is proving to be an excellent option for long-distance travel. Meanwhile, news is emerging that the Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express could be flagged off by this Friday. It is believed that the Railway Board may issue orders for the regular operation of the Vande Bharat Express by Friday.
On November 8th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the Lucknow-Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express, connecting Naimisharanya and Western Uttar Pradesh to the high-speed rail network. The Railway Board has not yet issued a notification for the regular operation of this train. Consequently, the eight-coach Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express is not running.
The residents of Saharanpur have requested a change in the timings of the Vande Bharat Express from Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. According to the railway’s previously released timetable, train 26504 Vande Bharat Express will depart from Lucknow Junction at 5 am, six days a week, from Tuesday to Sunday, and will reach Saharanpur at 12:45 pm via Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Nazimabad, and Roorkee.
The departure time of train 26503 Vande Bharat Express from Saharanpur was initially scheduled for 3 pm, with a planned arrival in Lucknow at 11 pm. The request is to depart from Saharanpur at 5 am, arrive in Lucknow at 12:45 pm, depart from Lucknow at 3 pm, and arrive in Saharanpur at 11 pm.
According to a senior official, a meeting will be held on Wednesday between senior officials from the Railway Board and the Northern and North Eastern Railway Zonal Headquarters to discuss the revisions to the timings of the Saharanpur Vande Bharat Express. A decision on the new timetable could be made at this meeting. According to a senior North Eastern Railway official, the Shatabdi Express arrives at Lucknow Junction from New Delhi at 12:53 PM. Therefore, a slight timetable change between the two trains may be necessary for the Vande Bharat Express to arrive at 12:45 PM.
