Renovation work has kicked off at the Shalimar station yard, leading to the temporary cancellation of several trains. This situation will persist until November 21st. Additionally, some trains have been rerouted. If you have tickets for these dates, make sure to verify whether your train is canceled or diverted to prevent any hassle on your travel day.
The Railways has announced that renovation work will take place at the Shalimar station yard from November 8th to November 21st. During this time, several long-distance trains traveling through the Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway will be suspended. A total of 10 express trains will not be running during these dates. The Railways has advised passengers to check their train status updates on the IRCTC website or call the railway enquiry number before starting their journey to avoid any inconvenience.

Train No. 15022 Gorakhpur – Shalimar Weekly Express is canceled on November 10 and 17.
