Fog’s impact on trains
Dense fog has become a major problem for Indian Railways these days. During morning and nighttime, visibility is limited to a few meters ahead. Consequently, train speeds have been significantly reduced. The railways have had to make several significant decisions regarding safety. Consequently, more than 20 trains have been cancelled, while many are running hours late. The situation has become so severe that long-distance travelers are facing significant travel disruptions.
Trains cancelled for so many days
These cancellations aren’t just a matter of a day or two. According to the Railways, many trains will not run until the end of February, while some are expected to resume operations by early March. Passengers who have already booked tickets are now forced to either postpone their travel or find alternative options.

List of cancelled trains
1. Train No. 14112 Prayagraj Junction-Muzaffarpur and Train No. 14111 Muzaffarpur-Prayagraj going via Prayagraj-Muzaffarpur route will remain completely cancelled till 25 February 2026.

2. Train number 22198 Veerangna Laxmibai Jhansi-Kolkata Express running on Jhansi-Kolkata route will not run till 27th February.
3. Train number 12327 Upasana Express running on Howrah-Dehradun route will remain cancelled till 27th February.

4. Train number 14004 Express running on New Delhi-Malda Town route will remain cancelled till 26th February.
5. Train number 15621 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar and train number 15622 Anand Vihar-Kamakhya going on Kamakhya-Anand Vihar route will remain cancelled till 26th and 27th February.

6. Train number 14523 Harihar Express running on Ambala-Barauni route has been cancelled till 26th February.
