Twenty-one instalments of the   PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been released so far. The 11th instalment is the largest, in which funds were released to over 10 crore farmers. This is the highest number in the scheme’s seven-year history. At that time, the government transferred approximately ₹22,617.98 crore directly to farmers’ accounts through DBT in the 11th instalment.

Compared to this record, the number of beneficiaries in the 21st instalment released last month decreased to only 93,403,157. Additionally, the government deposited ₹18,680.63 crore into farmers’ accounts. If this data is to be believed, the number of farmers in the 21st instalment decreased by approximately 11.4 million, compared to the 11th instalment number of farmers participating in this scheme increased rapidly. In the first instalment, money was deposited into the accounts of just over 30 million farmers. The number then increased rapidly.
