School Holiday On 1 November: There is good news for school children in Chhattisgarh. The state government has declared a holiday on Saturday, November 1, 2025, on the occasion of State Foundation Day. The General Administration Department issued an official order in this regard on Friday.

According to the order, all government, private, aided, and non-government schools will remain closed on this day. After the Diwali and Chhath holidays, children are now going to get another day off, which is why they are very happy.

According to the GAD order, all government offices will be closed on November 1st. However, banks will remain open to ensure that cash transactions are not disrupted. Special events will be held in all districts, including the capital Raipur, to mark State Foundation Day. These events will include cultural performances, tableaux, and activities related to government schemes. The entire state will be filled with celebration and excitement. During this holiday, you can spend quality time with your family or make the day special by planning a trip.

Various cultural and government programs will be organized on the occasion of the Foundation Day in all the districts including the capital Raipur.

November 5th will be a nationwide holiday to commemorate Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birth anniversary. The Sikh community organizes religious events, bhajans, and nagar kirtans. Many schools also organize cultural programs to mark the occasion.

There are a total of five Sundays in November 2025 (November 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30). Additionally, schools will be closed on November 8, the second Saturday. This means students will have a break from their studies and a chance to have some fun each week.
