Educational Qualification
Applicants need to have a Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Commerce from a recognized university with at least second division. Candidates having a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Statistics are also eligible. Degrees from foreign universities recognized as equivalent will be accepted. In addition, an RS-CIT Certificate issued by Vardhman Mahaveer Open University, Kota, or by the Department of Information Technology, Government of Rajasthan is required.
Age Limit
The minimum age limit for candidates is 21 years, and the upper age limit is 40 years as on January 1, 2026. The reserved categories will get age relaxations per the government rules, which ensures a good opportunity for both young and experienced aspirants.
Application Fee
The application fee differs as per the category. The general and Creamy Layer OBC/MBC will have to pay ₹ 600/-, while for Non-Creamy Layer OBC, MBC, EWS, SC, ST & PwBD is ₹ 400/-. It shall be deposited online at the time of application, using a Debit Card, Credit Card, or through Net Banking.
Selection Process
In all, the RPSC Statistical Officer Recruitment 2025 selection will be done in three phases. First, there is a written test with 200 marks to be held for three hours. It shall include Statistics, Probability, Mathematical Methods, Data Analysis, General Knowledge, and Current Affairs. Candidates who qualify will be called for document verification and a final medical checkup before appointment.
