BluSmart wallet: Big news for everyone. Electric cab service BluSmart suddenly stopped its service in Delhi-NCR, Bangalore and Mumbai. Due to which the users got upset. Because there are many users whose money is stuck in the company’s wallet. Due to the closure of the cab service, the app is also not working. The company has stopped all types of bookings. Not only are the customers getting upset due to this big step but the jobs of the cab drivers are also at stake.
What did Bluesmart say?
BlueSmart has said that if the services are not started in 90 days, the refund process will start. But users are getting worried about getting back their money stuck in the wallet. All this has happened due to SEBI’s ongoing action against BlueSmart co-founders Anmol and Puneet Jaggi. Both the founders have been accused of using the funds received for the purchase of electric vehicles for personal use.
Can you get back the money stuck in my wallet?
Although the wallet fund has been stated as non-refundable in the company’s policy, but in this case, legal experts say that the digital wallet is the property of the users and the company cannot impose a ban on it arbitrarily. The company has sent an email to the users. In which it is written that if the company does not resume its services within 90 days, then the users will get their money back.
Follow this process to get a refund
1. First of all open the Blue Smart app and click on the top left corner menu icon and click on the help option.
2. Now select the option of Blue Wallet option. After this, FAQs related to wallet and refund will start appearing. There will be no direct link in this. You have to contact the support.
As soon as the option to contact the support team opens, ask for a refund of your wallet balance.
If your refund request is approved, the money will be credited to your original account within seven working days. If customers do not receive the refund on time, they can also file a complaint with the RBI or in the Consumer Court under the Consumer Protection Act.
