Gold Price Today, February 28, 2026: Gold prices continue to fluctuate. Gold and silver prices are constantly fluctuating. MCX gold futures have fallen to ₹161,971 per 10 grams, after closing at ₹162,104 per 10 grams the previous day. Spot gold prices in the international market have fallen slightly to $5,172.17 per ounce. According to the Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold prices rose to ₹159,097 per 10 grams by market close on Friday evening. Since the markets will be closed on Saturday and Sunday, the same price will apply to both days.

Silver Price
Silver prices also fell on the morning of February 28th, reaching ₹284,900 per kilogram. Recently, the price of silver in Delhi’s bullion market fell by Rs 2,500 to Rs 268,000 per kilogram. The spot price of silver in the international market remains at $89.72 per ounce. In January, the price of silver crossed the Rs 4 lakh mark.
