Gold Rate Today: Gold and silver prices continue to rise. Gold prices had declined slightly recently, but now they have started rising again. According to the rates released by the Indian Bank for Gold and Jewellers Association (IBJA) today, March 2nd, the price of 999 purity gold opened at Rs. 166,469 per 10 grams, up ₹7,372 from Friday’s closing price, excluding GST. According to this rate, gold is now only Rs. 9,652 cheaper than its all-time high of Rs. 176,121 in the bullion market. Including GST, gold today reached Rs. 171,463.

According to bullions.co.in, 24-carat gold in Delhi has risen by Rs 5,850 to Rs 167,740 per 10 grams. In Mumbai, it has risen by Rs 5,840 to Rs 168,030 per tola. In Kolkata, it has risen by Rs 5,830 to Rs 167,810 per 10 grams. Following the price increase in Chennai, the price has risen by Rs 5,970 to Rs 168,630, and in Lucknow, it has risen by Rs 4,940 to Rs 168,180 per 10 grams.

What are the rates on MCX?
The gold rate for the April futures contract on MCX has risen by Rs 3,397, or 2.09%, to Rs 1,65,501 per 10 grams. The previous closing price was Rs 1,62,104. Gold prices rose 3.5% to a high of ₹1,66,920.

According to the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), the price of 995 purity gold opened at ₹165,802 per tola today. The price of 916 purity gold remained at ₹152,486 per 10 grams. The rate of 750 purity gold remained at ₹124,852 per 10 grams. The rate of 585 purity gold remained at ₹97,384 per tola.
