It was priced at Rs 158,674 on Monday. Compared to yesterday, it has become costlier by Rs 1,762 today. 995 purity gold reached Rs 159,794 per 10 grams today, a rise of Rs 1,755. Its price on Monday was Rs 158,039.
On the other hand, 916 purity gold opened today at Rs 146,959 per 10 grams. The previous closing price was Rs 145,345 per 10 grams. This means it has become costlier by Rs 1,614 today. Meanwhile, according to bullions.co.in, the price of 24-carat gold has increased by ₹1,729 today, selling at ₹162,720 per 10 grams.
What is the price of silver today?
According to IBJA, the price of one kilogram of silver is recorded at ₹272,830 today. Previously, on Monday, it closed at ₹260,056 per kilogram. Today, the price of silver has increased by ₹12,774 per kilogram. Meanwhile, on Bullions.co, silver is selling at ₹277,640 per kilogram, up ₹9,720.
How much more expensive has gold become in 2026 so far?
Gold has become more expensive by ₹27,000 this year. Additionally, silver has risen by ₹42,000. At the end of last year, gold was at Rs 1.33 lakh per 10 grams, which is now at Rs 1.60 lakh.
