Driving License Application: A driving license is mandatory for driving a vehicle in India. Driving without a license is considered a violation of the law and can result in heavy fines or penalties. How to apply for a learner’s driving license online

First, go to the parivahan.gov.in website and click on the “Online Test” option. Then, click on the Sarathi portal, select your state, and choose the “Apply for Learner Licence” option. Enter your Aadhaar number or Virtual ID and fill in the OTP received on your mobile phone. After that, fill in your details such as name, address, and date of birth. Upload necessary documents such as identity proof, address proof, and age proof. Finally, pay the fee and save your application number. After this, you will have to take an online test.
How to take the online learner’s license test

Click on the Online LL Test (STALL) option on the Sarathi portal. Enter your application number and captcha, and start the test. If you pass the test, you will receive your learner’s license online. In some states, it is also printed and sent to your home address.

How to get a permanent driving license
Some time after receiving your learner’s license, you will have to go to your nearest RTO and take a driving test. Carry all the necessary documents and the fee receipt with you for the test. If you pass the driving test, your permanent license will be sent to your address.
