What’s the reality?
A screenshot is trending on social media that shows the JioHotstar 3-month Premium plan at only Rs 1. The actual price is Rs 499. For the first month, you would be able to watch everything, all movies and shows, for just Rs 1. This is the trial month. After the first month, you will be charged Rs 499 to your account. You can also go for the 1-year plan, where after the trial month, you would be charged Rs 1499.
However, there is no need to think that only Jio users will get this offer. It is probably not like that. Users of any mobile network can get this offer.
How to Check if the Offer is Available for You
- Download the JioHotstar app on your phone.
- Log in with your own mobile number. Do not use a number that is already logged in to JioHotstar.
- Tap on the My Space option.
- Click on Subscribe Plan.
- You will then see whether the Rs 1 offer is available or not.
- If you see the offer, subscribe to it. But remember, after 30 days, the full amount will be auto-debited from your account.
