DDA Karmayogi Awaas Yojana: Everyone dreams of owning a home. However, high real estate prices in the capital, Delhi, make buying a house extremely difficult. Despite this, if you wish to purchase a home in Delhi, you can take advantage of government concessions. The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is currently running the ‘Karmayogi Awaas Yojana’.
Through this scheme, government employees and pensioners can purchase new homes at significant discounts. Applications for the scheme are currently open, and the DDA has decided to extend the deadline to June 30, 2026. The project has been developed in Pockets 6, 9, and 13, as well as Sectors A1–A4, in Narela. The DDA launched this scheme specifically for serving and retired government employees.
Why did the DDA extend the deadline?
The application deadline was extended due to the scheme’s growing popularity and the positive response from the public. The Narela-based project offers 1, 2, and 3 BHK flats with discounts of up to 25 per cent. According to the DDA, the flats in this project are situated opposite a vast urban forest.
This location offers residents the benefit of modern urban amenities alongside a clean environment. Under the scheme, the starting price is set at ₹33.63 lakh for a 1 BHK flat, ₹75.55 lakh for a 2 BHK flat, and ₹106.45 lakh for a 3 BHK flat. These prices already incorporate the 25 per cent discount.
Huge demand for 1 BHK flats
The DDA reported that the 1 BHK flats available in Pockets 6 and 9 have completely sold out, while a limited number of flats remain in other categories. These flats are being allotted on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. The project offers amenities such as ample parking, a community centre, a clubhouse, large open spaces, enhanced security arrangements, and future metro connectivity.
Furthermore, this is a freehold property, and the flats are ready for immediate occupancy. The DDA has urged interested applicants to apply soon. The booking and registration process is entirely online; applicants can apply by visiting the DDA website.
