The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways informed the Lok Sabha that three major corridors – Ashram to Badarpur, Mahipalpur/Mehrauli to Gurugram, and Punjabi Bagh to Tikri Border – will be largely signal-free. This will involve flyovers and grade separations at various intersections.
Major interchange is set to be constructed at Kalindi Kunj
The proposal also includes a new interchange at Kalindi Kunj Junction. This location is recognized as one of the largest traffic congestion points for vehicles moving between Delhi, Noida, and Faridabad. The new interchange aims to enhance the flow of traffic.
