Aadhaar Card Update: Aadhaar is now the most important form of identification. It’s used for everything from opening a bank account to purchasing a SIM card, passport, or government schemes. Cards are often lost, torn, or damaged. But now there’s no need to worry; you can easily order a duplicate or PVC Aadhaar card from the comfort of your home.

How to get a duplicate Aadhaar card from home

UIDAI has provided an online facility, saving you the hassle of visiting an office. You can download e-Aadhaar for free or order a durable PVC card. You need your Aadhaar number (UID), Enrolment ID (EID) or Virtual ID (VID), and a registered mobile number.

 PVC Aadhaar Card Price

UIDAI has kept the price of PVC cards low, making it easy for everyone to get one. For example, you can get an e-Aadhaar card for free. The price of the PVC card has been fixed at ₹50. You can download it in a digital version. You don’t have to pay a single rupee for this. If you want an ATM-like Aadhaar card, you’ll have to pay ₹50.
