3 unique FD schemes run by Central Bank of India, check interest rates and features

Different banks have different Fixed Deposit schemes with different interest rates and features. Banks design their FD structure keeping in mind the need of their customers. The Central Bank of India has three unique FD schemes, which perhaps you don’t know.

Central Bank of India is one of India’s leading public sector banks. It has millions of customers. It offers several investment products, including fixed deposits (FDs). Currently, the bank offers interest rates ranging from 3.50% to 6.50% on fixed deposits for general citizens. Senior citizens receive interest rates ranging from 4% to 7%. The interest rates were last revised on September 10, 2025.

In addition to regular fixed deposits, the bank currently offers several special fixed deposit schemes that offer higher returns than regular fixed deposits. Furthermore, the bank claims several perks, some of which offer interest rates of 7% or more. These include the Cent Super Callable Time Deposit (444 days), Cent Super Time Deposit (555 days), and Cent Green Time Deposit.

3 unique FDs run by the Central Bank of India:

CENT Super Callable Time Deposit 444 days

The Cent Super Callable Time Deposit Scheme has a tenure of 444 days. The minimum investment amount is ₹10,000 and the maximum amount is ₹10 crore. It can be opened both online and offline. Senior citizens receive an additional 0.50% return. Free mature withdrawals are also allowed. General citizens receive 6.50% interest.

CENT Super Time Deposit 555 Days

The SEND Super Time Deposit 555 days is also a callable FD scheme. Investments can range from ₹10,000 to ₹10 crore. Its tenure is 555 days. Premature and online account opening are available. This scheme also offers 6.50% interest for general citizens and 7% for senior citizens.

CENT Green Time Deposit Scheme

This FD scheme offers three tenure options. For an 1111-day FD, the bank offers 6.50% interest to general citizens and 7% to senior citizens. For a 2222-day FD, the bank offers 6.75% interest to general citizens and 7.25% to senior citizens. For a 3333-day FD, general citizens receive 6.75% interest and senior citizens receive 7.25% interest.
