Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer India Yamaha Motor has launched the 2024 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models. This robust range includes the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0. The R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at ₹ 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the MT-15 MotoGP Edition is available at ₹ 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition model range will be available exclusively at Blue Square Showrooms nationwide. This special edition of R15M and MT-15 version 2.0 has MotoGP livery on tank shrouds, fuel tank and side panels, which gives it a powerful feel of a racing bike and creates a different identity on the roads. Power, performance, and premium features

The Yamaha R15M has a powerful fuel-injected 155 cc engine. This engine generates a maximum power of 18 bhp at 10,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.2 Nm at 7,500 rpm, which gives it great performance.

The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox with slip and assist clutch and quick-shifter, which delivers a smooth and quick gear-shifting experience.

Yamaha also offers Traction Control and VVA (Variable Valve Actuation), which activates at 7,400 rpm and optimizes power delivery at every speed.

Powerful Features

Apart from this, this bike has powerful features like a quick shifter, a fully digital color TFT screen, turn-by-turn navigation, music, and volume controls, upgraded switchgear, and an LED license plate. The recent update of the R15M also includes a turn-by-turn navigation feature as well as music and volume control functions.

These functions can be used through the Y-Connect application, which is available for download on the Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for iOS devices. To connect and synchronize with the motorcycle, the rider has to download and install the application on his smartphone, making the riding experience even more powerful and connected.
