NEET Paper Leaked

NEET is considered the largest medical examination in . About 22.7 lakh students appeared for the exam this year. When the decision was made to re-conduct the exams, some students felt they would have to start their studies again, and that pressure was not something they were able to handle. Meanwhile, students are becoming demoralised after hearing about the NEET paper leak.

It is worth mentioning that there were allegations of massive paper leakage in the NEET-UG examination scheduled for May 3, 2026, and the investigation later proved that the paper was compromised. The NTA had subsequently cancelled the exam on May 12. About 22.7 lakh candidates appeared in the May 3 examination in 551 cities of the country. This was the second year in a row that the country’s biggest medical entrance exam was mired in controversy.

The investigation into the case was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and re-examination for more than 22 lakh candidates is now being conducted on June 21.

Telegram banned

NEET re-exam is being held on 21st June. The government has directed Telegram to keep its message edit feature closed till June 30, even after the exams. According to the NTA, some people have been using Telegram to fabricate evidence of leaked exam papers. This step has been taken to prevent such cases and maintain the fairness of the examination.

The Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) has removed several Telegram channels, groups and bots. These platforms were being used to mislead NEET candidates and claim paper leaks. In the last few weeks, channels with names like “PAPER LEAKED NEET”, “Re-NEET 2026” and “NEET MAFIA” were running on Telegram. These were demanding millions of rupees from the candidates and their families. The NTA clarified that all such claims are bogus.
