If you are looking for an electric scooter with sporty look, high-end technology and powerful performance, then Yamaha Aerox E can be a game-changer for you. Yamaha is preparing to launch this premium electric scooter in India by 2026. Aerox E is already in a lot of discussion because of its aggressive design, very powerful electric motor and smart features. Clean, Aerox E will not be just an EV, but a machine that will take City Riding to a new level of style, speed and comfort.
Price

Yamaha Aerox E is expected to cost between ₹250,000 and ₹260,000 (ex-showroom). In this price range, it will compete with premium electric trains like TVS X and Ultraviolette X47. Given Yamaha’s pricing strategy, it will be an EV in the high-end performance segment.
Design

The Aerox Series has always been sporty and muscular in look, and Aerox E will pursue this DNA with a bold, futuristic design. An aggressive front apron, sharp LED lighting, a wide body setup and stylish graphics will give it a distinct identity on the road. This electric version is expected to have aerodynamic body styling, premium fit and finish, and sport-scooter-like riding positions. A curb weight of 139 kg makes it a solid and stable electric scooter.
Performance

The Yamaha Aerox E will have a 9.5 kW electric motor, making it a powerful EV in its segment. This power is enough to give it fast acceleration and great performance. Once full charged, Aerox E can offer a riding range of about 106 km, which is enough for use in the city daily. Yamaha’s battery and motor technology is already considered reliable, so Aerox E is expected to get a smooth and torque-rich ride.
Features

Although Yamaha has not yet fully revealed all its features, Aerox E is expected to have many advanced features, due to being a premium model, such as:
- Full digital TFT console
- Bluetooth connectivity
- Riding modes
- Smart key system
- Regenerative braking
- OTA Updates
In addition, the combination of high-level riding stability and smart technology expected in Yamaha EVs will also be seen.
Brake and suspension
The Yamaha Aerox E will have disc brakes on both the front and back, ensuring excellent stopping performance for an electric scooter. Disc brakes provide better brake feel, comfort and control — especially in high-speed cities. Speaking of suspension, it is expected to have a telescopic front forks and rear monoshock, which will give a balanced and comfortable ride in sporty scooters like Aerox.
