TVS Jupiter CNG will run on both petrol and CNG

TVS Jupiter CNG will be the company’s first scooter to come with a factory-fitted CNG kit. It will feature a dual-fuel system that can run on both petrol and CNG. This hybrid setup will provide users with better mileage and lower costs.

Great Mileage

Typically, petrol scooters have a mileage of between 45 and 50 kilometers per liter, but this CNG scooter will prove to be much more economical. The company claims that this scooter can run up to 84 kilometers on 1 kilogram of CNG. Considering the current price of CNG in Delhi at ₹76 per kilogram, it runs at a cost of just 90 paise per kilometer.

Powerful Engine and Superior Performance

The TVS Jupiter CNG will be powered by a 124.8cc single-cylinder engine that generates 5.3 kilowatts of power and 9.4 newton meters of torque. This scooter can reach a top speed of 80.5 km/h. It has a 2-liter petrol tank and a 1.4-kilogram CNG tank, giving it a combined range of approximately 226 kilometers.

Features and Design

This scooter will be quite advanced not only in terms of mileage but also in terms of features. It will feature the largest seat in its segment, along with features like a metal body, an external fuel lid, a semi-digital speedometer, and a mobile charging port. It will also feature Body Balance Technology, an ET-Fi fuel system, IntelliGo technology, an engine inhibitor with a side stand indicator, and an all-in-one lock system. A dedicated button will also be available to switch between petrol and CNG.
