If you are thinking of taking an SUV, then you are going to have many tremendous options in the coming months. India’s midsize SUV segment is going to heat up once again by early next year. Tata, Kia and Renault are all set to launch their new models. Tata Sierra, New-Gen Kia Seltos, and All-New Renault Duster. Tata Sierra
Tata Sierra is going to be launched first in India, with its launch date fixed on 25 November 2025. It will be marketed as a Lifestyle SUV. This SUV will be built on front-wheel-drive monocoque platform.
Tata Sierra will initially be offered with petrol and diesel engine options. Later its EV version is also expected to arrive in late December 2025 or early January 2026.

If the engine is talked about, its lower variants will get a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder naturely aspirated petrol engine, while higher trims will also have 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine which will also be found in Harrier and Safari. The Diesel model can offer either a 1.5L turbo diesel or a 2.0L turbo diesel engine.
In terms of design, Sierra will emerge as a bold and premium SUV, with modern features such as LED DRLs, panoramic sunroof, connected tail-lamps.
Kia Seltos
Also, the second major launching will be the New-Generation Kia Seltos, which is scheduled to arrive in December 2025. In this SUV, the company has made major changes in both design and interior.

The new Seltos will be offered in 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol, and 1.5L turbo diesel engine options. In addition, Kia also plans to launch its Hybrid version in 2027.
The SUV is now made more premium, with features such as new LED lighting, digital instrument cluster, large touchscreen, and advanced driver assist system (ADAS).
The most important thing is that the new Seltos will now be given 19-inch alloy wheels, giving it a more sporty look.
Renault Duster
However, the third SUV is the New-Generation Renault Duster, which was eagerly awaited in the Indian market. The company has confirmed that this SUV will be launched on 26 January 2026.

The new Duster will be produced at Renault’s Chennai Plant. Initially it will only come with petrol engine, while its Hybrid variant will be launched later.

Also the engine lineup will include a 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which will come with 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission. Lower variants may also see 1.5L NA petrol or 1.0L turbo petrol engine.
The look of the new Duster is now even more modern and muscular, it will get sleek LED headlights, flared wheel arches, and bold grille design. Renault has made it more feature-rich and technological than older models.
