Electric Scrambler Expected to Launch Soon
Royal Enfield has already introduced the Flying Flea C6 as a production model, and at the same time, the company teased the concept of the S6 Scrambler. Now, there are indications that its production version may be unveiled at EICMA 2025. This teaser was essentially a glimpse of the company’s future electric vehicle roadmap, and now the actual Scrambler S6 is expected to launch shortly.
Will be based on a new EV platform
The Flying Flea S6 is built on Royal Enfield’s new electric platform. However, its design makes it distinctly different from the C6 and more adventure-oriented. The bike features a shorter rear strut, off-road-friendly tires, higher ground clearance, and USD forks at the front. These features make it suitable for rough terrain and trail riding. Additionally, a new seat design and side-mounted number plate give it a distinctive Scrambler character.
Performance Details Remain Secret
The company has currently kept key performance figures, such as battery capacity, range, and charging time, under wraps. However, it is expected to share these details closer to launch. Since these bikes are being designed for urban riders, a significant range is not expected. Nevertheless, Royal Enfield aims to offer a new experience for city commuting and weekend trail riding with these bikes.
Like last year, the company is expected to showcase its entire electric range at the Motoverse festival in Goa. It’s believed the S6 will be showcased there as well, giving Indian audiences a closer look.
