Engine
If you talk about its engine, the bike has a 648cc BS6 compliant parallel-twin air/oil-cooled engine that develops 47 bhp power and 52 Nm torque. This gets linked to a 6-speed gearbox providing smooth shifting and great acceleration.
The bike has a weight of 211 kg and a 12.5 liter fuel tank that does not result in repeated fuel stops on long rides. Its top speed and responsive engine gives it the status of a perfect cafe racer.
Design and Features
The Continental GT 650 retains the same retro styling that defines Royal Enfield: a round headlight, a twin-pod instrument cluster, clip-on handlebars, and a twin-sided exhaust system give it a true cafe racer look.
Some notable changes have been made to the bike with this 2023 update. It now features an LED headlight for far better visibility compared to the older halogen setup. This motorcycle has also added features such as a new switchgear design similar to the one on the Super Meteor 650, a USB charging port, and a redesigned saddle that enhance the riding experience even more.
