The era of cars in India is now slowly moving away from Petrol and Diesel towards Green Technology. Maruti Suzuki has taken a big step in this direction. The company is soon to launch the new Flex Fuel variant of its popular compact SUV Maruti Fronx.
This car will not only be stylish but will also prove to be more economical and environmentally friendly in terms of fuel. Maruti will introduce it at Japan Mobility Expo 2025 and is fully set to hit Indian roads in 2026.

Maruti Fronx Flex Fuel
Fronx’s new Flex Fuel variant will bring a major change in the Indian market. The car will be able to run on a mixture of petrol and ethanol, which will reduce pollution and improve fuel efficiency. It will be launched in 2026, and the company has prepared it exclusively for markets such as India where the use of ethanol mixed fuel is continuously increasing.

Engine
If it comes to its engine, this SUV will be given a 1.2 liter petrol engine, which is made Flex Fuel compatible. This means that this engine can run smoothly from E20 to high ethanol blends (up to E85). Maruti Suzuki has tuned it in such a way that whether the fuel has more petrol or ethanol, it will give smooth and efficient performance in both situations.
Design
Let me tell you, Maruti Suzuki has paid special attention to Fronx Flex Fuel, not just the engine, but also its design. It is expected that this model will have the same sporty and premium look as its existing petrol version. This SUV with LED lighting, touchscreen infotainment system, and advanced safety features will also offer a great combination of Modern Style with its Green Performance.

Maruti Suzuki Future
You will be surprised to know that Maruti’s move will not be limited to just one car. The company aims to create a Complete Eco-Friendly Mobility System for Indian customers by combining Flex Fuel, CNG, Biogas and Hybrid Technology in the coming times.
Maruti is already a leader in the CNG segment, and is now moving towards further strengthening green mobility by adding Flex Fuel and Bio Gas technology. This makes the company not only want to increase its sales, but also to deepen its identity as a responsible brand.
